Exciting news! The Ministry of Finance and National Development just signed an agreement with the African Development Bank to implement the Dekemhare 30 MW Solar Photo Voltaic project, which is worth a whopping 50 million dollars!
The project will help increase access to electricity and improve the socio-economic development of all Eritreans. This is just one step towards the government’s goal of installing power plants generating 360 MW to ensure that everyone has access to reliable and sustainable energy.
The Dekemhare Solar Photo Voltaic will be linked with the Hirgigo Electricity Power Plant and other initiatives, making a significant contribution to solving energy challenges in the country.
